Green Apple Nog

December is here, and I wanted today's "Mixer of the Day" drink recipe to incorporate the tastes of winter as the weather is cooling down, the leaves are falling on the ground, and in some places it is already snowing!

This smoothie can be drank cold or heated, either way, it's zing of green apple, and spice of nutmeg will give your taste buds a new sensation and burst of flavor you will love.

It will become a new staple in your Winter and Holiday beverage offerings. Just perfect for those office holiday parties or a Christmas party!

Your co-workers, friends, and family will be raving about the new flavor twist from the tradition holiday nog!

It's simple to prepare, especially with the new So Delicious Coconut Milk Nog available at your nearest health food store or grocer, I found mine at Von's!

Apple Nog Recipe:

Time: 5 minutes

Servings: 2 (as pictured)

You will need:
- 2 Fresh Organic Green Apples, or Fall Apple of choice
- 1/4 cup So Delicious Coconut Milk Nog
- 1 1/2 cups Filtered Water
- 1tbsp Cinnamon
- 2 Cinnamon Sticks
- Few dashes of Nutmeg
- Heavy Duty Blender

Place fresh (rinsed) cut-up organic green apples, So Delicious Coconut Milk Nog, Filtered Water, and Cinnamon into a heavy duty blender
(I use a Vitamix)
Blend for 1 minute on high.

Pour servings into medium sized glasses,
sprinkle both cinnamon and nutmeg over top of the drinks and add
cinnamon sticks to stir.

Serve chilled or heated
~Enjoy!
